Ian Churchill – Chief Operating Officer
"For me the most important aspect of the job is delivering solutions and services that meet our customers’ needs."

Ian Churchill
Chief Operating Officer
Capita One
My role is to ensure everything goes to plan. I need to make certain that our customers get the right solutions and services they need and that we have the right staff and skills to deliver their requirements.
I continually look to improve the services we offer. I know that we are judged on our results and that is exactly how it should be, particularly during these challenging times. What motivates me is ensuring that our services make a real difference to the lives of young people in our communities.
I have a long history working with the public sector and local government. I joined Capita from Northgate where I was Managing Director for their Criminal Justice business and before that, Finance Controller for their public services division. I have been the Chief Operating Officer for the Capita SIMS business since 2008, and was given responsibility for the One business in October 2011.
It is critical the technology we deliver supports authority staff and practitioners in the vital work they do. I have great respect for what authorities are trying to achieve in the current, very challenging, circumstances and we are committed to being a long-term partner to support them.

Tip of the Day
Once letters to parents have been generated through Workflow timelines in CSS, they are then logged automatically, making the letter part of the child's record and easily accessible.
