Natasha Knight
One Application Support Team Leader
Capita One
I’m proud of being able to bring 7 years experience of One to my role as team leader of the One Application Support team, working with our analysts to ensure that software support meets the needs of our customers.
Being involved on the front line means that I have developed an in-depth understanding of the software, but this doesn’t mean that I’m resting on my laurels – quite the opposite! One of the highlights of my role is keeping pace with the continual development of our applications. I’m always learning about aspects of new functionality and platforms, most recently with regard to the upgrading of Early Years from version 3 to version 4.
I know how important it is for our customers to have a timely and useful response when they encounter a problem and I share with my team a genuine interest in responding to customer enquiries. It’s great to be able to talk to our customers first-hand, and to have the chance to build up relationships with our local authorities.
I’ve worked my way up to my position at One and being appointed as team leader is an important personal achievement for me. I feel that I am giving something back to the company in my position as I can pass on my knowledge and experience to fellow team members, ensuring that our local authorities have access to the support they need.

Tip of the Day
Once letters to parents have been generated through Workflow timelines in CSS, they are then logged automatically, making the letter part of the child's record and easily accessible.
