Nick Anderson - Product Manager

There is never a dull moment in my job as I am a product manager for several One modules, incorporating everything from Youth Offending to e-Start for managing children's early years data.

In my role I need to ensure that the products work to support our local authorities and that my customers can easily get the most out of them.

Although I am responsible for a number of products, the key principle that underpins them is the same – information should be entered once and used many times by all the agencies that need it. This can save time and money and improve outcomes for vulnerable young people. It is something that everyone at One feels passionate about.

My customers inspire me and I really enjoy developing and maintaining my relationships with them. Close collaboration is the most important aspect of my work as it helps me to define what is needed from the products both now and in the future. It ensures we have a long-term strategy to support authorities even when events in local government are constantly changing.

It’s a challenging job but extremely rewarding.
