At the One National User Group earlier this year, I hosted an elective where I presented how the Capita One team had evolved to better meet the changing priorities of local authorities. Our objective was to learn how our professional services can further develop to meet with local authority requirements.
What did you tell us?
We learnt that many of you were keen to have the following:
• Remote access to services.
• Improved availability of knowledge specialists without the need to book a specific day on site.
• Low cost contact at regular intervals to help key processes.
• Smaller bite-size training courses at lower cost
Since the National User Group, we’ve been working on how we can introduce new channels of delivery to meet these customer requirements:
We’ve developed a One Remote Support Service for System Administration and Report Writing and have been delighted to welcome our first customers to this service this year.
In 2016 we’re launching a new Admissions Subscription Service to remotely support Admissions teams, through access to experienced Admissions consultants, to help de-risk and manage the Admissions cycle.
How the One Remote Support Service will help:
Offered as a yearly subscription, our Remote Support Service is a useful option for local authorities looking for a low-cost way to access support for Report Writing, System Support and one-to-one advice on the use of modules.
How the Admissions Subscription Service will help:
We’ll provide bite-sized focused training exactly when you need it. There’s no need to book on-site consultancy and organise facilities and staff availability at a time that may not be appropriate in the Admissions cycle.
Day to day support
Your Admissions team will have direct access to our Admissions specialists on a day to day basis provide support for day to day activities, when they need it. This will ensure that key (and sometimes unfamiliar) routines and tasks are carried out correctly, first time. The Admissions team will be taken through system changes at the point of release so you can understand any potential impact. Our consultants will support the implementation of all Admissions changes including Online Portal Migrations, Own Authority Allocations, In Year Portal and Auto Allocations.
I hope you’ll welcome this flexible approach - we’ll continue to investigate ways to provide you with the best services possible.
