We’ve now said goodbye to SupportNet and the new My Account is up and running! Apologies if you experienced any speed issues yesterday morning – this was due to an error on the main application server responsible for portal traffic and was not due to the number of users logging in to My Account.
We’re now seeing lots more users logging on and are receiving some really useful feedback. We appreciate all the comments and feedback we’ve received, so please keep your comments coming as you use your account.
We’ve already been making some changes to My Account based on your feedback. For example, for the file sharing area, we will provide a read-only list of files uploaded over the last three years. Some users also raised that security around the knowledge base was too tight, so we’re working on a fix for this too.
Remember, if you experience any problems when using your account, please let us know in our forums so we can start working on them. You can leave feedback and queries in the ‘Usage Queries’ and ‘Bugs and Suggestions’ Community Forums and we’re working around the clock to respond to feedback as soon as it comes in.
If you have any problems logging in, please email email@example.com and we’ll get back to you in the first instance.
Haven’t logged in yet?
If you haven’t had the chance to take a look yet, you can log in using your SupportNet username and password - you’ll find a login button at the top of the SIMS, SIMS Independent and One website homepages (just where the SupportNet login used to be!) Please note that if you haven’t logged in to SupportNet in the last 12 months, you’ll have to register for an account.
If you’ve been following my series of blogs, you should be familiar with all its functionality and features. You can also visit our FAQs for a recap of what’s in and what’s not.
If you're an avid reader of our weekly SupportNet updates, look out for the new My Account weekly update, which will be appearing in your inbox every Wednesday morning.
We hope you’ll enjoy using your account and like the new layout and features it has to offer. But remember this is just the first step – we’ll be developing My Account based on your feedback so please do leave comments in our forums and you may see one of your ideas in a future version of My Account.
