We’ve made lots of progress on the new My Account (a replacement to SupportNet) and things are very busy here as we draw closer to its launch.
For the last two weeks, we’ve been testing My Account with customers – if you’re a SupportNet user, you should have received your invite and may have already logged on to the beta environment.
Thank you for all the effort you have put in to help us test. I’m pleased to say that the beta has gone well and we’ll be collating your feedback over the next few days, making any final changes and then preparing for go live. We’ll be sending out communications nearer the time so you’re all prepared for the big switchover.
What else have we been up to?
The current version of My Account that customers have been testing includes various enhancements since our previous testing period back in October. We’ve been listening to your views on how you would like My Account to develop, such as improving forum categories, adding new ways to filter search results and enhancing content and aesthetics.
We’ve also been running bug fixes, speed enhancements and various rounds of testing to ensure My Account is as seamless as possible when you first log in on the go live day.
We’ve also enhanced the events section so that you can book onto our conferences and select the electives you wish to attend.
We are now working on a go live plan. It will be a complex task to migrate users and information from SupportNet, but we hope to announce a go live date shortly. Remember that My Account is a platform for future growth so we will be constantly enhancing it based on your feedback. Any comments you may have left over the testing period will be just as valuable after go live, so you may see some of your suggestions appearing in the future! We’ll also be keeping our feedback forums open, so if you still want to suggest any ideas after the go live date, please go ahead. Your feedback is critical to helping us develop My Account going forwards.
In the meantime, if you missed any of my previous blogs which explain My Account’s functionality, you can catch up on them here.
