It’s been over four months since we said farewell to SupportNet and introduced My Account to the One, SIMS and Independent communities, and I wanted to share with you the positive progress that has been made.
We’ve worked on a number of enhancements since My Account’s launch and rest assured we continually listen to all the feedback we receive, as we implement changes to improve the user experience.
One area which has seen significant enhancements is the search function.
We have now introduced an advanced global search, which enables users to filter results by the type of content that they’re specifically looking for.
Further to this, we’ve also been busy making improvements to how the search function works to make it much easier for you to find Knowledge Base articles.
I hope you are finding the advanced search more beneficial to help you navigate around My Account and find the information you’re looking for.
Here are some of the other upcoming Search enhancement developments that are in the pipeline:
- Applying extra sub-filters to the global searches Documents filter category, to help you find documents easier
- The ability to search for posts within a specific forum, and, to improve the ability to find files shared by other users, this will include the ability to search only for posts that have attachments
- Better descriptions for documents will help to make search results more informative.
You can stay up-to-date with all the latest improvements we make to My Account via the Improvements Notification.
Once again, many thanks for your feedback and please do keep providing your comments to let us know where else you would like to see enhancements to My Account.
You can also leave your feedback in the comments box below or in the Suggestions for My Account forum.
