Capita’s software services business is continuing its long-standing relationship with Sentinel Housing Association by upgrading the organisation’s housing management software to Capita’s OPENHousing solution.
For the past 12 years Capita has been providing housing management software to North Hampshire based Sentinel, which employs more than 200 people and manages 10,000 homes across the region. The upgrade to OPENHousing has been put in place as part of Sentinel’s strategy to improve the delivery of customer services and to increase efficiencies across the organisation.
OPENHousing will provide Sentinel with a complete, fully integrated solution, ensuring comprehensive business functionality across their housing strategy, housing management and property development, as well as maintenance and asset management.
Duncan Brown, finance director at Sentinel Housing Association, said:
“We’re excited about moving to OPENHousing and really pleased with our ongoing partnership with Capita. Our ‘Doing It Differently’ programme is a major transformation programme which involves redesigning all our business processes to be digital by default. Capita’s expertise is helping us maximise the benefits to our customers by aligning their technology with our processes.”
Roger Birkinshaw, housing director for Capita’s software services, said:
“The OPENHousing software suite will provide Sentinel with a functionally rich system, ensuring a breadth of capability and benefits across the entire organisation and for their customers. The solution will help Sentinel to increase efficiencies and further improve customer satisfaction through a range of self-service tools.”
