We’re coming up to the One software update webinars next month, when we look at current challenges for local authority teams and how One is being enhanced to help meet those challenges.
Those of you who’ve joined us before for our software update seminars will notice a couple of variations on the norm, not the least being that we’ve moved these sessions online, to enable a greater number of One customers to join in. We know it’s often a challenge finding the time out of the office to travel and attend events, and hope that the new format of the updates will make it easier for you to select, and take part in, the sessions you’re most interested in.
So what would I particularly recommend that you don’t miss? There’s an excellent selection of webinars to choose from and it’s difficult to narrow it down to just a few, but I hope these will at least whet your appetite before you explore the full agenda:
- Guest presenters the Department for Education Data Exchange team
The chance to be the authoritative voice on Data Exchange in your council - the Department for Education Data Exchange team will talk about the outcomes of the alpha phase of development and their plans for the beta phase, including how and when they’d like to engage with local authorities. - Case management for outcomes – progress update since NUG
Those of you who joined us at the National User Group earlier this year, or took part our survey, will know that we’ve been encouraging our local authority customers to let us know how the software can best support case management. Find out how your feedback is informing future One product development in case management, including flexible reporting and analytics tools being released this Autumn. - GDPR: looking to the future
By May 2018 everyone must be ready for the General Data Protection Regulation – this means being ready by this date, not from it. Join this session to find out how GDPR affects children and families services, including a look at personal data and the right to consent, and what we’re doing to support you in meeting these requirements.
These are just a flavour of what’s being featured – there are also webinars on early years self-service portals, transport, predictive analytics and youth case management. For the full range of sessions please see the software update webinars webpage.
