Warrington Borough Council: Helping to identify children who are at risk of becoming NEET earlier

Ensuring that the different teams working with young people in Warrington have instant access to accurate data is a key priority for Warrington Borough Council.

Previously, manual analysis and the constantly changing data on young people meant it was often out of date.

The council wanted to be able to categorise pupils so that they could clearly see which children were at highest risk of ending up Neet and who would benefit from additional support.

As a result of using Capita’s Child Profiling Tool, the team were able to speed up the data analysis task and simplify the process.  This is allowing them to make sure young people get the help they need quickly to take the first steps into valuable and fulfilling careers.
